DERICK LENGWENUS

Derick emerged onto the
Montreal Comedy Scene
in 2000 and immediately
attracted attention. In
2001 he appeared in the
prestigious Just For Laughs
Festival where his style was
described as clever writing
with a quick left turn into
absurdity. Since then Derick
has gone on to record his own
1 hour special for television.
Its success earned him a
Canadian Comedy Award
nomination for “Best Newcomer.”
Most recently Derick took home
silver in the 33rd Annual
San Francisco Comedy Competition!
